Designing a 2-story modern minimalist house in a dense residential neighborhood requires more than simply dividing functions vertically. These challenges became the basis for the design of Niskara House in Taman Bougainvillea Housing Estate, Depok. Designed by Ar. Light-colored surfaces on the upper mass are combined with dark surfaces, glass, concrete, vertical screens, and textured walls on the lower section. The elongated rhythm of the metal envelope makes the upper volume feel lighter, while denser textures provide a solid visual base.
