Colorbond for Industrial Buildings
Extreme Industry
Heavy industrial environments refer to buildings located near large-scale industrial activities, typically within 500 meters of high-exposure areas such as factories or intensive production facilities. In these conditions, buildings are exposed to more extreme environmental factors, including higher humidity, pollution, and a significantly increased risk of corrosion.
As a result, materials with enhanced protective properties are required to maintain structural durability while ensuring a consistent and long-lasting appearance.

General Industrial
General industrial environments include buildings located within industrial or urban areas with moderate levels of environmental exposure. These are typically situated at distances of more than 501 to 1000 meters from heavy industrial activity, or within less than 500 meters from light industry with moderate emission fallout.
Such conditions are commonly found in facilities such as distribution warehouses, mid-scale manufacturing plants, workshops, and commercial buildings within integrated industrial areas. While these environments are continuously exposed to pollution, humidity, and other environmental factors, the intensity is lower compared to

Light Industrial
Light industrial environments include buildings spread across industrial and urban areas with lower levels of environmental exposure. These are generally located at distances of 1000 to 2000 meters from heavy industrial fallout, or 500 to 1000 meters from smaller industrial activities with moderate emission levels.
These conditions are typically found in buildings such as light logistics warehouses, small workshops, commercial spaces in industrial areas, and supporting operational facilities that are not directly located within primary production zones. Although exposure levels are lower, buildings still require materials that can maintain corrosion resistance while preserving a clean and consistent appearance over time.
